Here’s part two of my Avon Color Fold-Up Palette post! See part 1 here. In this post you will see swatches of the 18 eyeshadows and 3 blushes included in the palette.
I did not include anymore lip glosses swatches (this palette has 18 glossies) because it did not show up very much on the photos. Most are sheer anyway, that is why. So, let us get started!
Avon Color Fold-Up Palette Swatches
Most colors on this palette are neutral and thus, wearable during day or night. No mattes in this collection though, cos all has subtle shimmer, which I don’t really mind. However, I noticed some shades are closely similar with each other. Can you spot from the swatches below?
Anyway, moving on to the blush. This palette has pink and peach shades. Like the eyeshadows, these also have a bit of shimmer in it.
The left blush is a vibrant pink that looks more like an eyeshadow color to me than something you put on your cheeks. But then again, that is just me. I prefer my blush on the peachy / coral side which is why I like the center and third ones. I just want a natural flush of color, and not so much of “hey, look I’m wearing a blush” kind of color.
Now we are done with swatches! It is FOTD or “face of the day” time! Here is what I came up with! I used only three shades of eyeshadows from the palette – nude, blue and gray. I also applied the center peach blush (sorry I have to refer to the position and not actual names cos all the shades are not labeled), and swiped some lip gloss also from the palette.
Here is a close-up shot. Eyeliner used is Avon Glimmerstick in Blackest Black.
I definitely recommend the Avon Color Fold-Up Palette as a gift to your kikay sister / friend, or for yourself! The number of shades included is impressive (total of 39), yet it remains compact and handy cos of the sleek packaging. I have a few palettes from Avon which are a miss for me, but this one is not!
