Christmas is just a few hours away! You already got gifts for your loved ones? Good! Food for noche buena? Check. Dress for Christmas eve mass? Yes. Holiday makeup look? NOOOO!

Simple Holiday Makeup Look You Can Try

Hush, hush. Buttercup to the rescue! 😉 This look is simple to recreate! The main focus here are the eyes. Apply golden bronze eyeshadow all over your lids and use a darker brown shade for the outer v area. Blend inwards. The two colors just look gorgeous together.

And I admit I love gold and brown combined! To make the eyes pop more, apply white gold shadow on the lower lash line. Then tight line upper lash line with black eyeliner, curl your lashes and finally, apply mascara. Optional: highlighter on your brow bone.

Here’s me! I kept the blush and lipstick at a minimum to avoid clash of colors with the already-sorta-intense eyes. But feel free to play with darker lip colors if you wish.

Before I end this post, I like to share 3 makeup tips!

Tip 1. For an airbrush effect, use stipple brush and apply foundation / BB cream in dotting / stippling motion, as opposed to rubbing or brushing, for a more flawless look.

Tip 2. After applying under-eye concealer, do not forget to seal it with a powder. I like using Virginia Olsen Medium Cool Matte foundation. My concealer does not cake!

Tip 3. Cream or gel type of eyeshadows can also work as a base / primer to intensify the eyeshadow you will apply on top of it. Plus, eyeshadows will stick more to your lids with base / primer underneath. Try Avon’s Eyeshadow Duet.

That is it for today’s post! Share your simple holiday makeup look with me! Happy holidays, everyone! 🙂
