Are you planning a trip to Cagayan De Oro soon? Make sure to include Dahilayan Adventure Park in your itinerary! Continue reading as I share more about this huge adventure park tucked in Mindanao!
After seeing so many posts about Dahilayan Adventure Park from my relatives, finally, I was able to visit this amazing tourist spot! This was during the wedding weekend of one of my cousins in Cagayan De Oro and we did a little bit of side trip there.
Dahilayan Adventure Park is a mountain resort nestled in the highlands of Dahilayan, Bukidnon which is about 1 ½ hours drive from Cagayan de Oro City in Mindanao. There are daily PAL and Cebu Pacific domestic flights going to Cagayan De Oro (CGY) from Manila and other provinces.
This huge adventure park is 4,700 feet above sea level and is surrounded by pine trees so you can breathe in the cool crisp air. It’s a fun place for the whole family where you can enjoy a lot of rides and attractions and also relax in their mountain lodge.
Speaking of their rides…
Here are my top 3 favorite rides at Dahilayan Adventure Park!
Be sure to turn your volume up when you watch the videos! They are super fun with the sound on!
1. Dropzone
Drop Zone | Extreme Ride 😱🔉 SOUNDS ON! 🔉 Watch till the very end!!! 120 ft. free fall ride – one of its kind here in the Philippines! HAHAHA! Will you dare try this too? 😱😂😆 #hazywanders

It’s a 120 ft. free-fall ride and is said to be Philippines’ first extreme pendulum swing of its kind. You will be pulled up to the sky and freefall into a manmade lake once you release the strap. I super enjoyed this as you can see in the video above! Kinda scary but I love the adrenaline rush. 😱
Cost:
Single – Php 500.00
Tandem – Php 750.00
2. Zipzone
Dahilayan ZiplineThe daredevil in me just had to try all the ziplines at Dahilayan Forest & Adventure Park 😅 Including Asia’s longest dual zipline 😳 I survived yay!!! Here’s to braving even new heights this coming 2020! 😝

They have a total of 3 adrenaline-pumping ziplines – 150m, 320m, and their longest 840m. What makes Dahilayan’s ziplines special is that they pride themselves for having Asia’s 1st longest dual zipline! I rode all 3 and it was super fun, especially since I got to enjoy the highlands and look over the lush pine forest from up above.
Cost:
All 3 lines – Php 600.00
840m – Php 500.00
320m and 150m – Php 250.00
3. Zorbit
Zorbit | Giant Inflated Ball 😳Super laughtrip! We were strapped inside a giant inflated ball and it rolled down the hill for a one of a kind whirling experience!

Although this one is not exactly located inside Dahilayan Adventure Park but in the neighboring park called Dahilayan Forest Park Resort, I’ll still include it in the list. These two resort parks are just walking distance from each other and it’s impossible to miss the latter since it’s just inside this one whole sort of Dahilayan complex. More about Dahilayan Forest Park Resort later.
Anyway, going back to the Zorbit! What happens here is that you and your partner are strapped inside a giant inflated ball and rolled down a hill for a one of a kind whirling experience. It was my first time to ride one and I was just shouting and laughing the whole time! 😂
Cost: Php 250.00 per head
Dahilayan Forest Park Resort vs Dahilayan Adventure Park
Okay, let’s now talk about Dahilayan Forest Park Resort. This may seem confusing at first but there are actually TWO resort parks in Dahilayan – the Forest Park and the Adventure Park. As mentioned earlier, they are situated right beside each other.
I think Dahilayan Adventure Park caters more to adults as their rides and attractions are mainly for this age group (like the above-mentioned Dropzone and Zipzone). Good thing there is the Dahilayan Forest Park Resort where they offer more rides and attractions for both adults and kids. There’s the Forest Luge, ATV and Buggy Trail Adventure, Forest Putt Mini Golf, Bumper Boat, and many more.
There is no entrance fee at the Dahilayan Adventure Park (you just have to pay for the rides you will avail), while at the Dahilayan Forest Park Resort you have to pay Php 130.00 for adult and Php 80.00 for kids 10 years old and below (on top of the rides/attractions you will avail).
Both resort parks have their own comfy accommodation. We stayed overnight in the Family Room at the Pinegrove Hotel in Dahilayan Adventure Park. This hotel reminded me of Camp John Hay in Baguio. Check out the lovely photos I got from their official website.
It was a great experience overall! I enjoyed the cool and foggy weather, the rides, the scenic view, and the company of my family. I would love to go back to Dahilayan again!
That’s it for this post! Let me know if you have any questions in the comment box below or DM me via my Instagram or Facebook page. Until my next post. Bye!
